Depending on your therapist, your sessions may include Brainspotting, Somatic Experiencing, Hypnotherapy, Lifespan Integration, Ego State, inner child and parts work, cognitive-behaviour therapy, narrative therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and other person-centred or feminist approaches. I have a supportive, responsive and compassionate approach to therapy. I believe you are the expert in your own story, and my goal in therapy is to create a relationship built on trust and respect where you feel seen and heard each time I meet with you.

I enjoy working with all individuals (18+) seeking support. I am skilled at integrating many different approaches in therapy sessions. I work with Brainspotting, Attachment Focused EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Lifespan Integration, Ego State, inner child and parts work, cognitive-behaviour therapy, narrative therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and other person-centred and feminist approaches. I can support you in processing through a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, problematic anger, trauma and PTSD, complex PTSD, developmental trauma, dissociation, obsessive-compulsive disorder, perinatal mood disorders, birth trauma, parenting challenges, and many other concerns.

In particular, I’m passionate about supporting new moms and birthing people in processing through any personal concerns or experiences that might impact their relationships with their children. I have nearly a decade of experience in supporting parents in building solid foundations in attachment with their young children. I have also worked therapeutically with young children. I can safely support you in processing your concerns and working toward your goals when you are considering pregnancy, throughout your pregnancy, and once you’re caring for your baby.

My aim as a therapist is to bring compassionate understanding, hope, and positive change to the lives of my clients. I believe that everyone deserves to feel heard and to have a space where they can be their most honest, authentic selves. In therapy, I work with dads and partners to help them reconnect with themselves, clear blockages, and find creative ways to establish new patterns. In bringing a healthier version of yourself to your interactions with your children, you are setting your family up with a solid, stable foundation to grow from.

In supporting change, I believe that therapy should be targeted and effective, and that with the right tools, many challenges can be resolved sooner than we think. I understand that therapy is not meant to be a life-long engagement, but rather a collaborative process between myself and my clients that creates a foundation for an authentic life.

I have carefully developed an integrative practice with therapies that support my clients in creating rapid and lasting change. I believe that you are the expert in your healing process, and I work with you to select the tools and methods that will be the most effective in supporting your therapeutic goals. My approach to therapy is centred on you and what you need. I have a compassionate presence, and a fundamental respect for the human person and personal experience.

I am a Master of Counselling Psychology student and I am trained in Brainspotting, counselling hypnotherapy, and in working with complex trauma. I am passionate about supporting new parents in establishing a solid foundation for their family. Currently, I specialize in post-traumatic and workplace stress, depression, anxiety, anger, irritability, chronic pain and trauma. I have been working in mental health since 2013.
